Measure it. Size it. Have it made.
Choose a common replacement part, enter the dimensions from the original object or mounting location, and inspect the result before requesting a manufacturing quote.

Parts that look round or square can vary slightly from side to side. Measure all applicable sides, record the largest value, and enter the full actual size. Printed colors are only a preview.
Helpful digital-caliper measurement notes
- Clean first. Remove dirt, burrs, adhesive, and loose material from both the part and caliper jaws.
- Zero before measuring. Gently close the jaws, press zero, and confirm the display reads 0.00 mm.
- Use millimeters. Keep the caliper in mm mode and enter the displayed value without converting from inches.
- Outside dimensions: use the large lower jaws for widths, diameters, thicknesses, and outside edges.
- Inside dimensions: use the smaller upper jaws for holes, slots, and the inside of caps or tubes.
- Depths: extend the depth rod from the end of the caliper and keep the caliper body flat against the opening.
- Use light pressure. Close the jaws until they just touch. Do not squeeze flexible pieces or force the jaws into an opening.
- Keep it square. Hold the jaws flat and perpendicular to the surfaces; a tilted caliper usually gives a larger false reading.
- Check multiple positions. Rotate round parts and measure opposite sides, ends, and several points along the part.
- Repeat the reading. Measure each important dimension at least twice and use the largest repeatable value.

Every entered hole, opening, shaft, or mating diameter is treated as the minimum nominal design size. The design will not intentionally reduce it below the customer’s entered value. When a part must slide over, onto, or around another object, up to 0.6 mm total clearance—approximately 0.3 mm per side—may be added to help prevent a tight fit.
A measured outside diameter used to create a matching opening receives the selected clearance in that opening. Finished exterior dimensions that do not mate with another part remain at the entered nominal size. Actual printed dimensions can still vary slightly by material, printer calibration, and finishing, so the final allowance is confirmed during quote review.
